In most cases, we are able to arrange for delivery directly from IKEA® to your home. If delivery is not available to your address, please discuss with your designer options for getting your IKEA® product to you.

With IKEA® home delivery, they will deliver a multitude of flat-packed boxes into one area of your home. It is best to have it delivered to an area that is dry, out of your way, and not too far from the installation site. Prior to delivery, your designer will give you more specifics about what to expect for your delivery.

Happily, no! If you are having Swede & Simple install your project, unboxing and assembling all of the product is included in the installation price.

If you choose Swede & Simple to install your project, our professional installers will exclusively install cabinets that they have assembled themselves to ensure a smooth installation process. Unboxing and assembling all of the products is included in the installation price.

Several variables can affect the installation timeline, including, removal of the old kitchen, electrical and plumbing work, carpentry and flooring, delivery schedules and product availability, as well as the schedules of our installers. Generally speaking, we are usually able to get your cabinets installed within one month. If you’re working to a specific deadline, please discuss this with your designer and we will make every effort to accommodate your timeline.

We don’t do general contracting, plumbing or electrical work ourselves but we’re happy to refer you to some wonderful, trusted tradespeople.

Absolutely! Bring us your blueprints and we will create an IKEA® plan and product list with pricing, and installation quote just the same as for a renovation project.

Currently, Swede & Simple does not remove existing kitchen cabinets but we’re happy to refer you to someone who does!

As part of our installation services, our installers will install laminate or wood-veneer countertops from IKEA® when your cabinets are installed. If you prefer custom countertops, we can refer you to some good options in your area.

Absolutely! While there are some limitations, our installers are experts at thinking outside the box and are very skilled at customizing IKEA® cabinets to personalize your design and better suit your space.

IKEA® has many, made-to-fit interior organizers and fittings; however, in most cases, we can also install other organizers, pull-outs, bins etc. Talk to your designer about what customizations you would like to make and we’ll do our best to incorporate them into your plan!

There are some great companies manufacturing doors to specifically fit the IKEA® cabinet frames. We are happy to assist you with the coordination of custom doors for your project.

We understand that it’s important to see the samples in person, so you can see and feel them before you decide to purchase. We are happy to bring our complete collection of IKEA® door samples to you as part of our design consultation service.
